Hey everyone, so I’ve had the flu for the past week that quickly turned into the flu with two ear infections. Yuck! Then I got my mom sick too! Double yuck.
Anyways, so last week I got a call from one of my bosses at DSW. The store wasn’t doing as well as hoped and they weren’t going to continue with me, but they would keep my application for later if they had open positions. So now I’m out of a job. :( So I’ll be putting some job search blogs up again I’m sure. *Of course I find this out after I order some stuff from The Body Shop. I have terrible timing.)
We also got our floors finished, but I don’t have the pictures ready yet, so I’ll show you the before and after shots soon enough. *Because of the floors we don’t have blinds on one of our windows and because of it the birds think there’s a tunnel going through our house so they are flying Kamikaze style into the window. Poor birdies (No birds were harmed in the making of this blog)*
On Saturday it was Katie’s birthday party (While yesterday was her actual birthday) and I made her a blue turtle, and bought her a green dinosaur.
Sunday was Mother’s Day and the day went as follows:
- Finished up my garden (which will be another blog post)
- Went to Josh’s grandparent’s for a Fiesta!! (There was even a piñata)
- Came home and gave my mom her present
I bought my mom a new album for her wedding pictures for mother’s day
- Later that day we took JR to the train station for a business trip
- Then I bought Mom some ice cream and watched some Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and went to bed.
It was an awesome day and I’m so grateful for everything that my mom has done for me. She’s my best friend and I’m so proud to have her as my mom.
Random: I decided that I wanted to grow out my hair to see if I could get it long enough for Locks of Love. If it doesn’t get long enough then I’m going to have really long hair! Haha
Today I went to the dog park with Josh and the dogs and I had a blast! Enjoy some cute dog park videos!
That black dog was all over moose!
